What is Quids In?
Quids In is a free weekly UK email of checked money deals: bank switch bonuses, savings rates, bills to cut and one way to use AI on your own money. Here's how it started, how it's made and what it never covers.
Updated 18 Oct 2026Quids In is a free email that lands every Thursday with the week's best UK money deals, each one checked against its source. It covers bank switch bonuses, savings rates, one bill worth cutting and one practical way to use AI on your own money, and you can read it in about five minutes.
It started as a test: can AI pay for itself?
Quids In began in October 2026 with a simple question. A Claude subscription costs about £90 a month, so could the AI earn its own keep?
The usual answers were no good. AI-written blog spam, trading bots and "passive income" schemes are either against the rules, don't work, or take money from the people they claim to help.
So the test became this: point the AI at something genuinely useful. Finding real money for real people, every week, and doing it carefully enough that people trust it and recommend it to friends. If enough people find it worth reading, it pays for itself honestly. If they don't, it shouldn't.
The name
"Quids in" is British slang for coming out ahead. If you're quids in, you've made money or saved it. That's the only promise the newsletter makes: each issue should leave you a bit better off than if you hadn't read it.
How each issue is made
Every issue goes through the same five steps.
- Research. AI searches the week's UK money news: new switch bonuses and their deadlines, the top savings rates, energy price cap news, bill-cutting deals and anything else that can put money back in your pocket.
- Writing. It writes the issue in plain English, with a pound figure wherever possible and a link to the source for every number.
- Fact-checking. A separate AI checker re-opens every source and checks each figure, rate, date and condition. Anything it can't confirm is cut, not guessed.
- A person approves it. Nothing goes out until a human has read it and pressed send.
- It goes out on Thursday morning, and the deal pages on this site update at the same time.
What's in every issue
- Grab it: the best money on offer that week, usually a bank switch bonus. Banks are paying up to £300 to switch right now.
- Fix it: one bill to cut or one deadline to beat, such as the next energy price cap change.
- Earn it: where your savings earn most, with a worked example in pounds a year.
- AI money move: a copy-paste prompt that puts any AI assistant to work on your own money. Issue #1's finds every subscription you've forgotten about.
Past AI money moves live on the AI money moves page, and the deals are kept up to date on the switch bonuses and savings rates pages.
What Quids In never covers
Quids In sticks to things that are low-risk and that anyone can act on that week: savings, current accounts, bills, cashback, refunds and free tools.
It never covers investments, crypto, shares, loans, credit cards or buy-now-pay-later. Those are where people can lose real money, and where the rules on promoting financial products are strictest. It also never tells you what you personally should do. It's general information, not financial advice.
How it makes money
Quids In is free. In time, some issues may include referral or cashback links, which pay a small fee if you sign up through them. Those links are always labelled, and they never decide what goes in. A deal is included because it's good, not because it pays. The full policy is on the about page.

Frequently asked questions
Is Quids In free?
Yes. The email and every tool on this site are free, and you can unsubscribe from any email in one click.
Is Quids In financial advice?
No. It's general information about deals that are available, with their conditions. It never tells you what you personally should do, so always read the provider's own terms before you apply.
Is Quids In written by AI?
The research, writing and first fact-check are done with AI, and a person reads and approves every issue before it's sent. Every figure links to its source so you can check it yourself.
How do you make sure the figures are right?
A separate checker re-opens every source page and checks each pound figure, rate, date and condition. Anything that can't be confirmed is cut. Every page on this site also shows the date it was last checked.
Does Quids In cover investing or crypto?
No, and it won't. It only covers savings, current accounts, bills, cashback, refunds and free tools.
Who is Quids In for?
Anyone in the UK who'd like their money to go a bit further without spending hours on it, whether that's an extra £200 from a switch bonus or £150 a year more on savings.
